Poppy would not be in my target audience because of her age, due to her exceeding the 16-25 age range she may not understand all references in my media product and it may not appeal to her as much as those aged 16-25

Kea does not fit into my target audience due to her age being below 16-25, this means she may not feel my media product appeals to her due to the differences in age which also may lead to her not understanding all the references
My focus group is made up of 4 subjects who all fit into my target audience of a socially-conscious 16-25 year old, middle to upmarket demographic.
Following my audience research on magazines I asked them more questions about how they consume articles and magazines.
Do you read magazines?
Ayaah: Yes
Eleanor: Yes

How regularly do you read magazines?
Ayaah: At least twice a week
Eleanor: Almost every day
Ana: Maybe one a month
Juliet: very rarely
Poppy: every couple of days
Kea: extremely rarely
How much would you pay for a magazine?
Ayaah: Up to £4, maybe £5 for a special edition
Eleanor: Depending on the genre, anywhere from £1 to £10 because of hardback or limited edition contents
Ana: Nothing more than £4
Juliet: Strictly no more than £2.50 because I would only ever read it once then throw it away
Poppy: anything, price does not matter
Kea: anything form £2 to £6
Do you enjoy reading magazines?
Ayaah: Yes, but it does depend on the type of magazine
Eleanor: I do enjoy reading these, I feel that they are an interesting way to read a mix of soft news and become educated on the latest trends in society
Ana: I do, but I mainly enjoy looking at the images, I feel that it was truly draws me in to look though the magazine
Juliet: It is rare that I would enjoy it, however like Ana, I do like to look at the images and ads
